Fabio Caraffini

VC2020 Senior Lecturer
Leicester
I am currently a senior lecturer in Computer Science and Mathematics at De Montfort University (UK) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK). I received the BSc in "Electronics Engineering" and the MSc in "Telecommunications Engineering" degrees from the University of Perugia (Italy) in 2008 and 2011 respectively. I hold a PhD in Computer Science (De Montfort University, UK, 2014) and a PhD in Computational Mathematics (University of Jyväskylä, Finland, 2016). My research interests include Intelligent Systems and Computational Intelligence, with a strong emphasis on metaheuristics for optimisation.
